Publishing to the Community
List your app in the public gallery where anyone can view, like, and fork it.
The Community is Startbase's public gallery of apps. Publishing a project there makes your workspace code visible and forkable by anyone; secrets and your backend are never included. Browsers can view a live preview, like the app, and fork it into their own account to build on.
Publishing your app
- Open Share → Publish to Community in the workspace.
- Startbase drafts the listing for you from your project: title, tagline, and description. Edit anything, hit Redraft for another take.
- Pick a category (AI apps, Games, Shops, Business, Health & fitness, and more) and optionally upload a 16:9 cover image.
- Click Publish. Your listing goes live at community/your-app with a fresh snapshot of your workspace.
Later you can Republish with a fresh snapshot, save listing changes without a new snapshot, or Unpublish. Unpublishing keeps your stats and link for when you republish.
Browsing, liking, and forking
- Browse the gallery with search, category filters, and New / Popular / Most forked sorting.
- Each listing shows the live preview link, description, author, and view, like, and fork counts.
- Fork copies the app into your own account as a new project (sign in required). Build on it from there.
- Like listings you enjoy; likes require signing in.
Moderation
Every listing has a Report action (spam, inappropriate content, copyright violation, or something else, with an optional note). Reports go to the Startbase team; listings that break the rules are removed.
