How your data is used
Customer data (any content, code, text, images, or files you input or generate through Startbase) is used to provide the service. Your prompts, generated code, and project data are never used to train AI models. Our agreements with AI providers explicitly prohibit this.
How Startbase handles PII
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is treated separately from other customer data:
- We do not use raw or identifiable PII for model training
- We do not sell PII
- We may anonymize and aggregate PII for improving service quality
