Checkpoints and project history
Every agent run creates a restore point. Roll your project back in one click.
Startbase checkpoints your project automatically as the agent completes work. Open Project history from the workspace toolbar to see the timeline of checkpoints, each tied to what the agent did.
Restoring
- Pick a checkpoint and restore it; your project files return to exactly that state.
- Restoring affects your workspace only. A published site keeps running the version you published until you republish.
- The agent knows about restores, so you can continue building from the restored state naturally.
When an approach goes sideways, restoring to the last good checkpoint and re-prompting with what you learned usually beats patching forward through errors.
