Visual edit
Click any element in the preview and restyle it directly, or hand it to the AI with full context.
Visual edit lets you change your app by pointing at it. Enable edit mode from the preview toolbar (or the canvas), hover to see element outlines and tags, and click an element to select it.
The style toolbar
A selected element opens a style toolbar with background and text colors (from your app's theme or a custom picker), font family and size, opacity, and spacing, plus a raw Tailwind class editor for full control. Changes preview instantly and are written back to your source code, so they persist and the agent sees them.
Handing the element to the AI
- Edit Element opens an inline prompt anchored to your selection: "make this card wider and add a subtle shadow."
- Regenerate offers one-click directions like Explore different styles or Switch colors.
- Both send the exact element context to the chat, so the agent changes precisely what you pointed at.
Visual edit is the fastest way to fix "that one button". For layout-level changes, describe the whole section in chat instead.
